 9 a.m.- 3 p.m.What are the days and hours of the Walk-In Family Clinic?

  • The clinic is open weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. 
  • The second and fourth Saturday of each month,  9a-3p, with exceptions if they fall on a holiday. 

Do I need to schedule X-rays, EKGs, and Laboratory appointments? 

  • No, you do not. The following areas are open to walk-ins and available seven days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.  

What are the hours of operation for the Laboratory?  

  • The Laboratory operates seven days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  

What are the days, hours, and locations for the Mobile Clinic?  

  • The Mobile Clinic is available on the first Thursday of the month from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Gardner-La Clinica.  
  • It is also available on the first Friday of each month from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Aguilar Jr./Sr High School.  
  • For an appointment, call 719.738.4590. Please request an appointment specifically in the Mobile Clinic.  

Are you a regular hospital, or do you only serve veterans?  

  • We are a critical access hospital and a Veterans Community Living Center.

Once my appointment is scheduled, where do I go to check in? 

  • Use the Outpatient Entrance, near the Retail Pharmacy, and follow the signs to Admissions. There are two registration offices available. 
  • For Mammography appointments, please use the Main Entrance and check in at the information desk. Mammography registration is across from the Rehabilitation Therapy Department.

What are The Pharmacy at Spanish Peaks hours of operation? 

  • Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

 Can I pay my hospital or clinic bill at the clinic? 

  • Yes 

How do I order a prescription? Do I contact the clinic? 

  • For medication refills, please get in touch with your pharmacy first.
    They can send an electronic request directly to your provider, which helps speed up the approval process. To avoid running out of medication, request your refill when you have 5 to 7 days of medication remaining.

What is the referral process and timeline for processing them in the clinic? 

  • Your provider processes referrals within 24 to 48 hours after completing your visit note. If your provider orders any imaging or lab tests, make sure to complete them promptly—your referral won't be sent until those tests are complete.Once the specialist receives your referral, they review it and call you directly to schedule an appointment based on their availability and how urgent your case is.If you do not hear from the specialist within one week, contact their office to follow up.
