Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center and Veterans Community Living Center's mission is "To Improve The Lives We Touch" and therefore strive to provide services that allow people to attain their optimal health, regardless of race, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, socioeconomic status, geography, preferred language, or other factors that affect access to care and health outcomes.

We strive to incorporate health equity into all department functions, including surveillance, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to identify and remedy system barriers to equitable services. The organization has a multidisciplinary Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) committee, supported by leadership and the Board of Directors, to coordinate these activities throughout the organization.
