Dr. Sandeep Vijan - Surgery
Dr. Vijan is a Board-Certified General Surgeon at Spanish Peaks and serves as the Chief Medical Officer at the Regional Health Center. He completed his medical education at Mahatma Gandhi Mission Medical College in Mumbai and pursued a residency in General Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. Vijan has a strong interest in robotic surgery and has educated surgeons across the nation. He has authored three textbook chapters on colorectal surgery. He is a Certified Physician Executive through the American Association of Physician Leaders, with a focus on quality and safety in healthcare. His goal is to identify gaps in patient care and promote collaboration between healthcare providers and hospital administrators.
