To Improve The Lives We Touch

Trauma Services at Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center

Trauma Services

Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center is designated as a Level IV Trauma Center, meaning we can receive and stabilize any trauma patient, including those with life-threatening injuries or illnesses. To obtain this designation, we had to pass stringent state requirements of the hospital's significant clinical and support service departments.

Once stabilized, patients may be transported from the Hospital in an ambulance or helicopter, as we are equipped with a helipad adjacent to the emergency room.

Emergency Center

Our full-service emergency department is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and is staffed by Registered Nurses and physicians specially trained in Advanced Trauma Life Support. ER Physicians are Board Certified.

The Emergency Department has rooms for cardiac, trauma, orthopedic, pediatric trauma, and medical cases. Inpatient hospital beds are available for patients who meet the criteria for admission.

Supporting departments offer availability for Laboratory, EKG, Cardiopulmonary, Radiology, and Cat Scans.

If you do not have a Primary Care Physician, a follow-up physician referral can be provided by local physicians and specialists.
