RECEPTIONIST: The Spanish Peaks Outreach Clinic has need for a full time Receptionist. This position requires excellent customer service skills, effective communication skills, ability to take direction and follow through, and on-the-spot problem-solving skills. Applicant must also be able to type 50 wpm and have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and knowledge of simple bookkeeping practices. CNA: The nursing home department of Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center has opening for a full-time CNA. We invite appropriately licensed candidates to apply. LPN: The nursing home a department of Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center, is seeking a full-time and PRN LPNs. Successful applicants must have graduated from an approved school of practical nursing and have a valid State of Colorado or Compact State license. CNA: The nursing home department of SPRHC has a full-time opening for a CNA to perform bathing duties. The employee in this position is responsible for all resident’s hygiene needs, baths and showers of assigned residents. CNA will report any skin anomalies to staff nurses as well as unusual skin observations by adhering to universal precautions and will assists with feeding of residents during meal times. This position requires a Colorado CNA license with a minimum of two years of experience. Some holiday and weekend shifts required. FOOD SERVICE WORKER I: The facility’s Dietary Department has need for a part-time Food Service Worker I. A successful candidate must have excellent customer service and teamwork skills. One year of food service experience is preferred. Candidates must have knowledge of kitchen processes. Some holiday and weekend work required. OUTREACH CLINIC – OUTREACH WORKER :The Outreach Clinic seeks a full-time Outreach Worker to focus on coordinating family support systems, distributing educational material and updating electronic databases. This position is grant-funded and will be scheduled 40 hours a week. The individual in this position will be proficient in computer programs including Publisher, Word and Excel, experience maintaining online databases, knowledge of medical homes and coordinating health information programs, the ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, organize daily tasks, answer telephone calls in a concise and professional manner and  have knowledge of community organizing. The person is this position must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and the ability to communicate effectively with management and coworkers in written and oral form. A background in health education is preferred, but not required. Also preferred is a candidate who is bilingual. ED COORDINATOR: The Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center’s Emergency Department has need for a full-time ED Patient Care Coordinator. Successful candidate must have experience using Microsoft Word and Excel, ability to type 35wpm, and have excellent interpersonal, customer service and time management skills. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred but not required. Job duties include: registering patients upon admission into the emergency room, transcribing physician orders, record preparation, answering department phone, ordering diagnostics, and preparing Excel sheets for data gathering. CNA or EMT certification is preferred, but not required. This position is scheduled from 8am-8:30pm three days a week with some weekend and holiday shifts required. RN: The Spanish Peaks Hospital Nursing Department has need for full-time RN. Successful applicants must have graduated from an approved school of practical nursing and have a valid Colorado or Compact State RN license. Qualified applicants must demonstrate leadership skills, be a team player, have excellent people skills and have the ability to provide patient care assessments. Applicant should have computer experience with EMR, Word and Excel. High ability to interpret professional literature, interact with the public and one year Med/Surg experience preferred but not required. Schedule will include three twelve-hour night shifts a week including some weekends and holidays. Lodging repayment may apply. Current ACLS, TNCC and ENPC certifications required within 6 months of hire for RNs working in Acute/ER.
