SPANISH PEAKS HOSPITAL – EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR
Spanish Peaks Hospital’s Emergency Department has need for a PRN ED patient care coordinator. Must be a high school graduate or have a GED. Successful candidate must have experience using Microsoft Word and Excel, ability to type 35wpm, and have excellent interpersonal, customer service and time management skills. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred but not required. Job duties include: registering patients upon admission into the emergency room, transcribing physician orders, record preparation, answering department phone, ordering diagnostics, and preparing excel sheets for data gathering. CNA or EMT certification is preferred, but not required. Work schedule involves one 12hr shift per week and will be called in as needed to cover call-offs and vacations. The Spanish Peaks Hospital Nursing Department seeks a full-time RN to work 7pm-7:30am night shift. Some holiday and weekend work required. Job functions include normal RN duties in an acute hospital setting. ER experience preferred. Current ACLS, TNCC and ENPC certifications required within 6 months of hire.
